Wow. 8bucks for 98 pages. Heck no

The prose seemed very forced in this short story. Very immature as compared to the full length novels.

I loved and enjoyed reading about my favorite character, Kalona, in Kalona's Fall: A House of Night Novella (A House of Night Novellas) by P.C. Cast. Kalona's Fall enlightens and illustrates the relationship between Nyx, Erebus, and Kalona and the events leading up to Kalona's fall. Read the highly recommended, awesome & amazing, well-written story of Kalona.

Kalona’s Fall is a wonderful backstory for such a complex character in the House of Night series. We are able to see his beginnings and struggles. And we also are able to see Nyx in her element. As always the worldbuilding in this book is amazing. However, I didn’t enjoy how the tests Kalona and Erebus face and how Kalona’s “fall” feels rushed. I honestly wish there could have been more development in that part of the story. Overall, I think this novella gives a fantastic insight into Kalona and Nyx’ relationship and how he ends up outside of her grace.

Poor Kalona! I have a lot more empathy now than I did before. His devotion to Nyx was admirable. Unfortunately, hate and anger won out.

I liked Kalona's book in the HON Novellas. I liked seeing how the goddess behaves and interacted with Kalona and Erebus prior to all that went wrong. I loved learning the tale of how the vampyres came to be and Mother Earth's part in it all. It also makes you feel a little more sympathetic toward Kalona than if you've just read the HON books and not the novellas. Well done from the Cast girls.

Almost 8$ for 98 pages. No greater insight by reading. Save your money.

This 98 page book was not worth it. It did not have much more details then what we already know about Kalona from reading the series. I was disappointed in the book.
