What a godhead! Kate Emerson's 2nd in the Secrets of the Tudor Court series, Between Two Queens, is excellent historical fiction. Upon finishing I paused only long enough to get myself something to drink before immediately starting #3 in the series. Characters are easy to sympathize with, the storyline is interesting and historical detail is amply interspersed and unique. (I never felt like descriptions of period dress was used to merely add to the word count.)
