Overview

Dr. Tony Evans’ Kingdom Man: Every Man's Destiny, Every Woman's Dream is a 6-session Bible study for adult men. This study is designed to empower men to exercise the God-given dominion they were created for by giving them a Kingdom understanding, vision, and perspective on their identity and responsibilities along with practical steps on how to become a man who rules his world well. Our culture has redefined manhood by emasculating men through a repositioning of the role. Men are portrayed as weak, self-serving, and unfocused. The Bible clearly communicates that man was created to exercise dominion over the various areas of his life, taking responsibility for himself and others entrusted to his care. When a man functions within the principles of biblical manhood, those around him benefit from his leadership and care. This men's Bible study is designed to empower men to exercise the God-given dominion they were created for by giving them a Kingdom understanding, vision, and perspective on their identity and responsibilities, along with practical steps on how to become a man who rules his world well.

Following the similar teachings of the Tony Evans’ Christian book  for men, this Bible study guides men through personal study segments, group sessions and workbooks. The study will help men understand how to study the Bible as a Kingdom Man as individuals, with the corresponding Bible study kit for group studies and alongside daily devotionals for men.

Member Book includes:

  • Six weekly group experiences following the Bible for discussion, sharing, and viewing
  • DVD sessions featuring author Tony Evans
  • Individual study five days a week, including content to read and learning activities to help men

What is a kingdom man and who wants to be one? According to Dr Tony Evans in his latest book “Kingdom Man” this is a man who lives by the Word of God daily and it is the destiny of every man to live as such. There is a need for men to live a life pleasing to God and to be an example to younger men, many of whom are falling way below the glory of God. Equally as important is need for women to know what a true man of God looks like. This book explains it all. “Kingdom Man” by Tony Evans is divided into three parts: “The Formation of a Kingdom Man”, “The Foundation of a Kingdom Man” and “The Function of a Kingdom Man”. Many times men in the church, particularly those with titles, do not think they further learning on what it means to be a man of God. Unlike Enoch we are still here on this earth which means there is always room for growth. This book allows the male to make the necessary adjustments in his life in order to be more of who God called him to be and (though written for men) helps the single woman know what to look for in a man. A complimentary copy of this book was provided to me by Tyndale Publishing in exchange for an honest review.

"Kingdom Man" by Tony Evans is a book written for men that attempts to help Christian men reclaim their role as leaders in our society, family, and businesses. This book uses both Biblical events, Scriptural references, as well as personal stories to enliven the role of the Christian man. What I liked about this book was that Tony Evans creates a sense of excitement about being a man. In a time when it is so easy to get sidetracked from our true goals in life, Tony brings the focus back to what is important. He discusses topics like making wise decisions, taking the lead, family life, making a difference, and personal life. I would highly recommend this book for any man - or as a special gift to the man in your life. Wonderfully written, completely focused, and geared toward the male gender. Great read.

This is one of the most compelling and life changing books I have ever read. I would encourage all men of God to read it.

This is a great guide, spiritually and practically, about what it takes to be the best man you can possibly be. Tony Evans tells us there are plenty of males but not all of them are men. Many husbands wonder why so many wives are frustrated and this book tells us why. If you're not married, it will help you to that path. God designed men to be kingdom men, and in Kingdom Man you will learn a lot about what that means.

This is an excellent book and a great study accompanies it. Who decides how manhood should look? This book is the voice of one crying in the wilderness, beckoning "cultured" men to find that real manhood is instilled in each male, but must nurtured and developed to become what was originally intended. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book!
