Great book, It was worth the wait all these years. How many times after hearing (or witnessing) one of your classic stories have I heard you say “Doooon’t worry, that one will be in the book!” I have heard quite a few of these stories before, so it was fun to reminisce. But most of them I haven’t and it was a page turner of laughs and mayhem adventures! So many great characters. A good example, the story about the transvestite…too funny. It would be hard to pick out my favorite story (too many to choose from), but the one where the handles on Johnny’s fire pit up burned up at his place in Port Austin…..I almost fell out of my chair laughing so hard. Yes, RIP to old Johnny, good people for sure. Nice job too paying tribute to Tsushie in your book. She deserves it for sure. There will be a special place reserved in heaven for “Tsuch3” for being a good partner during all the years of mayhem and adventure. Good luck on your book, it should be required reading for anyone with a passion for hockey…and fun! Although, if it ever makes the book store, they might have to put it in the fiction section for the people that don’t know you. Who’s going to believe all these stories if they never had a chance to witness some of it first-hand. Haha! I’m glad I had the opportunity to witness a few. Like it says in the book, your buddy Mark
If you like wild and crazy stories and wild and crazy characters you will love this book about senior beer league hockey players. Some of the names have been changed to protect the guilty, but the vast majority are real names of the people involved in these hard to believe but true stories. As you read this book, you will chuckle, you will cringe, you will say to yourself "No Way", but in the end you will say these guys know how to have a good time and live life to the fullest.
