Let's Sew published by DK Penguin Random House is written to appeal to young children who may wish to learn how to sew. Most, if not all of the book's projects, are easy-to-sew allowing the child to have a positive crafting or sewing experience. The book is simply written and illustrated beautifully with clear step-by-step directions. I truly liked how the book encourages children to seek an adults help and guidance when completing any of the projects found in the Let's Sew book. Some of the projects or ideas you'll find in the Let's Sew book include: *Threading a Needle *How to sew the running or backstitch *How to sew a button *Creating Sewing Cards (a simple craft I did as a kid) *Making Bottle Carriers The book lists the items needed to complete a project at the start of each project making it easy to collect or purchase the items needed to make the project.
