I read this book in one sitting, I couldn't put it down, it was that good... Live for Me is the second book of the Blurred Lines series by Erin McCarthy and as much as I loved the first book, You Make Me, I think the second book is my favorite so far. Tiffany Ennis is as good of a person as you'll ever meet, her life has been nothing but a series of foster homes, some good and some bad, and disappointments from the people she should have been able to trust above all others. But despite all that, Tiffany is a delightful mix of innocence and worldly knowledge. After her grandma kicks her out into the streets, she finds a job house sitting a mini mansion for a rich old man music producer who only visits the house a few times a year, which is heaven to a very downtrodden Tiffany. On her first night on the job she meets the rich old man who unexpectedly comes to visit and she finds that Devin Gold is not old at all and he's also very attractive. Despite their age difference and the completely opposite lifestyles they've lead thus far, feelings deepen as they get to known each other. I felt like this story was emotionally deeper then the previous one in the fact that both characters have gone through situations where they learned that trust was something earned not just given, the struggle to open themselves up to each other was very real and tugged at the heart stings. Tiffany is trying to figure herself out when she meets Devin and her struggle to find herself and not be sucked up into the powerful personality that is Devin made the story that much more real and emotional, at times I was frustrated with the autocratic way Devin acted but overall it was impossible not to love both characters. Live for Me is another fantastic read by Erin McCarthy, you definitely won't be disappointed when you read this book, or any other book she has written.

Live For Me is the second book in the Blurred Lines Series and once I started I could not book this book down. You Make Me, book 1 in the series was great but this one I think is my favorite by far. I loved Tiffany. She's a great girl whose been in and out of foster homes. Just like with everything else, some homes where good and some bad. For someone so young she has an older spirit. After her grandmother kicks her out to live on the streets (man that ticked me off. I thought family was supposed to look out for each other.) she finds a job house sitting for a rich old man that only comes by a few times a year which is perfect for Tiffany until she finds out that the rich old man isn't very old at all and his name is Devil Gold.  I loved the interaction between the two of them. It felt raw and emotional and found myself having a box of tissues handy. I always say if a book makes me cry then its damn good in my opinion even if I did want to smack Devin upside the head a few times. Overall its a great read and I really look forward to the next one. If you've never read any of Erins books before then pick up this series. You won't be disappointed.

I think this was my favorite book in the series. Tiffany was such an interesting minor character in the previous book and I was thrilled this story was about her. After being bounced from foster homes, Tiffany was placed back with her verbally abusive grandmother. At the beginning of the book, 18 year old Tiffany was kicked out of her grandmother’s house. Luckily, she gets a job house sitting for an absent millionaire, as one does. Of course, the millionaire shows up, with his dog, the first night she’s on the job. Devin is a famous music producer who is ten years older than Tiffany. At first, the age difference was unpleasant but then you realize that because of Tiffany’s hard life, she’s hardly a normal 18 year old. While the attraction between Tiffany and Devin is there from the start, it is not acted upon. Rather, their relationship grows as friends. Tiffany needs a soft and secure place to land after the trauma of her childhood. Devin needs to escape from his past, which includes an ex-wife, and learn to move on with his life. Together, they become so much stronger. The only reason I’m hesitant to give this book a five star rating is the suspense subplot. There is a threat against Tiffany and Devin but it is not fully developed throughout the book and the resolution was too abrupt. Aside from that, I really enjoyed reading this book. Tiffany was an excellent and relatable heroine and Devin was swoon worthy even when he was being dense. This book definitely has me excited to read the next one in the series!

3.5 Stars This is book 2 in the Blurred Lines series and it features Tiffany Ennis and Devon "Gold Daddy" Gold. I adore Tiffany. So young, now 18, and so brave with a strength of character most never have. She's taken so much bs from everyone her whole life and she's still a good person. Devon is a music producer, 30 years old, going through a divorce and he acts like an older man trying to fit in with the young crowd. If he were young at heart my opinion would probably be different. He has a temper but not abusive. He was often thoughtless when it came to Tiffany. I think she was looking for that father figure she never had growing up. It was just a bad match in my opinion. I'm looking forward to book 3.

This story was the best written and most enjoyable of all the (short) books in this series. I was rooting for Tiffany all the way. A few typo's but not enough to pull the reader off track. A solid four stars! M. Cunningham in WV

This book is horrible. I stupidly trusted the reviews listed below.  Neither character is endearing. Both are whiny and immature. Both act like teenagers.  She is supposed to be a mature 19 year old, yet she forgives a man who is actually married and who allows  his friends to do drugs in the house. I am actually forcing myself to finish this book and I truly hope that book 3 of the series is better. I am glad people were actually honest about the 1st book so I saved myself money by not purchasing it.

Poorly written, awful plot, pathetic characters. More garbage than homage.

Love Erin McCarthy's books. this one was different. Quick read but it packed in everything: angst, sadness, loneliness, chemistry, respect, wisdom and a HEA. The heroine is only 18 or 19 but has had to grow up fast and her life has lacked love. She is not a quitter or a whiner. Gotta respect her. The hero seems to have it all but does he? He is older by a decade but does it really matter? No it does not. Enjoy.

I absolutely LOVED this book. Erin does an amazing job of making you feel intence emotions in her writing. I loved Tiffany. She is strong, intelligent and innocent at the same time. My heart actually ached for her for the way her grandmother treated her and to find out how she grew up in foster care. I'm not sure I could heve been as forgiving as her. Devin can be a total ass one minute then be sweet and thoughtful the next. The chemistry between Devin and Tiffany is off the charts hot. Tiffany let him know right from the start she was not a pushover and she wasn't gonna be ordered around. I really wish this story would have been longer. The ending was really rushed. 169 pages was not enough to get to the heart of Tiffany's relationship with her father and her life with Devin. I still highly recommend this book to everyone.

If you love a feel good story that will make you laugh and cry at the same time, this is your book! Erin Mccarthy gives us another winner with live for me! I honestly wanted to reach into the story and give Tiffany a huge hug. My favorite quote from the book was: "He ate all over the world in expensive restaurants and yet he practically motorboated the biscuits and gravy I had made." That made me laugh out loud.

Live For Me is another good example of why Erin McCarthy is a must read author for me. She hits it out of the park every time. I completely loved this 2nd book in the Blurred Lines Series. I thought that Tiffany and Devin were both wonderful characters, and I enjoyed watching their relationship develop. The storyline kept me interested, and I became so caught up that I read the book in one sitting. Live For Me is the story of what happens when Tiffany Ennis, a girl who has been shuffled among foster homes for most of her life, and then used badly by a grandmother who kicks her out, is hired as a house sitter for an absentee owner of a mansion on the coast of Maine. When the owner makes an unexpected appearance at his vacation home, he and Tiffany are drawn together as they begin to know one another. This book was very quick and easy to read, and I loved every second spent on it. The connection and chemistry between the main characters was great. I loved seeing the impact that Tiffany had on the jaded and older Devin. I'm already avidly awaiting the next book!

I love it! Her books really pull you in. I fell in love with Devin, even though I wanted to hit him a couple of times because he could be a total ass when he was in his G Daddy persona. Tiffany was an amazing character. While reading you really feel her pain, her happiness and excitement. I would recommend this book to eveyone if I could. Its a must read series.

I absolutely loved this book! Tiffany is a young woman who has experienced way more than anyone her age should have to. She is a diamond in the ruff just trying to find a way to be alone and live for herself instead of everyone else Devin is a man in the industry used to dealing with the glitter and glam. He wants someone who is real, someone to care about him for him and not for what he can give them. Together they bring something new to the scene. They tell a sexy tale about two people who were equally strong in their own way trying to find love. Tiffany is slightely tarnished just waiting for someone to show her a lttle bit of love and give her a place to belong. Devin is the older man who wants to show her that she can belong with him. This book did not ignore the age difference between the two of them and it did not hide it behind pretty words. You were able to see that this relationship would have its issues just like any real relationship out there. I felt for them, I cried for them , I laughed with them, I connected with them. Erin did it again! She created a book that some how surpassed the first book in the series and that is hard thing to do seeing as how i loved that book as well!

I really enjoy Erin McCarthy's books. This one just drew me in from the start and I could not put it down. I loved how Tiffany found such security and love in Devin. He helps her see her true self and she just loves him in return. I can not wait for the next book!
