About the Author

USA Today bestselling author Aileen Erin is half-Irish, half-Mexican, and 100% nerd—from Star Wars (prequels don’t count) to Star Trek (TNG FTW). She reads Quenya and some Sindarin, and has a severe fascination with the supernatural. Aileen has a BS in Radio-TV-Film from the University of Texas at Austin, and an MFA in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University. She lives with her husband and daughter in Los Angeles, and spends her days doing her favorite things: reading books, creating worlds, and kicking ass.

Aileen is proud to announce her new YA space opera series Aunare Chronicles, beginning with Off Planet. On a polluted Earth where only corporations hold sway, Maité Martinez is the daughter of an Earther Latina and a powerful Aunare man, an alien race that SpaceTech sees as a threat. When tensions turn violent, Maité finds herself trapped on Earth and forced into hiding.

She is also the author of the hugely popular werewolf YA Alpha Girl series, which has sold more than 500,000 copies:
Book 1: Becoming Alpha, which hit #1 at all major eBook retailers
Book 2: Avoiding Alpha
Book 3: Alpha Divided
Book 4: Bruja
Book 5: Alpha Unleashed
Book 6: Shattered Pack
Book 7: Being Alpha
Book 8: Lunar Court

Her fans call her stories "jaw dropping," "electrifying," "amazing," and "bloody brilliant." Bloggers say "Erin's world-building is excellent and her characters are big and bold"(Escape Into Worlds) and every book is "a magnet that just keeps pulling until you feel as if you are falling down, down, down right into its world" (Tempest of Books). Aileen Erin is the founder and CEO of Ink Monster, building worlds filled with girl power and happy endings. You can find her at or on twitter @aileen_erin.

*I received a complimentary copy of this book early for review purposes. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.* This was fun and easy to read. I really enjoyed the depth of the characters. The world building was a little lacking for me however. This might have not been the case however if I had not started with book eight. Even so this is a great stand alone story. If you like star-crossed lovers then this is a great pick for you. Stuck in a love that can never work in a world that will never allow them to coexist. Set in a world of Werewolves and Fae. Can there be true love when one has the power to control the other?

A fast fun read. This was my first foray into this world and I have been inspired to go back and start from the beginning, I'm sure fans of the series will love it.

I love the Alpha Girl series by Aileen Erin. This is the eight book and it is about Cosette and Chris. It takes place right after defeating the demons and creating a new council for the supernaturals. Eli, the archon, talked. Chris into going into one of the Fey’s court (Gales) to help break the lunar tie. Things did not go as planned. Cosette was busy trying to find Chris when she finally agreed with her mother, the queen of lunar court, to marry for power and to give up Chris for his own safety. Cosette also goes to Gales court to meet with the prince and was surprised to find Chris there. What happens next??? You must read this book. I highly suggest to read the whole series first. YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED! This can technically be read without reading the series first, but you will get more enjoyment if you do because you will have a better understanding of characters.

Aileen Erin’s LUNAR COURT is a creative addition to the Alpha Girl series. Cosette searches for Chris after he goes missing at the end of book seven. The two have feelings for each other, but a relationship between them would not work, because he is a werewolf, and she is a princess of the Lunar court. Chris would be enslaved by the Lunar Court fey who have the power to control the moon, unless he can find a way to break his lunar tie. The characters are well developed. I really like Cosette and Chris. They both suffered violet childhoods but didn’t let it jade their lives. They both really care for one another and would make sacrifices for the other. You want them to be able to have a happy life together. I enjoy Van’s character. He is a wonderful friend and guard for Cosette. I would like to see a book with him as the focus in the future. I really enjoyed this book. The plot was creative with multiple twists. There was never a dull moment. I enjoyed the differences among the Fae courts. The Court of the Gales had a lot of fascinating and mysterious things going on. No one could really be trusted. LUNAR COURT is skillfully written. I love the conclusion of the story. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
