I am so excited to have my first kitty!

I will feed my kitty at least once a day so it can grow big and strong.

It likes wet or dry cat food and sometimes special treats.

My kitty will need fresh water every day.

It likes to drink water but not take baths in the tub like me.

My kitty will bath itself with its tongue.

It will use its paws and tongue to clean the hard places like the top of its head.

Just like me my kitty needs to go potty.

If it is an inside kitty it will go potty in a litter box.

The litter box will have to be cleaned every day to keep the kitty happy.

If my kitty is allowed to go outside it might go potty there.

My kitty likes to be alone and also really likes to play with me.

I will spend time with my kitty every day.

My kitty has paws with sharp claws that it uses to climb, hunt, and play.

It is natural for a kitty to scratch, climb and play.

I will make sure it has a scratching post rope or carpet.

I dont want my kitty to scratch the couch or me.

We can play with string, a ball, feathers and other kitty toys.

My kitty has a warm fur coat but still likes to sleep in warm, dry places.

I will take good care of my kitty and it will take good care of me!
