Notes To Mother is a series of in-your-face tales from behind the scenes of recent history. Ride in a stagecoach in the driver's box; guide and take pictures of Teddy Roosevelt in the wilds of Yellowstone Park; covertly gather info on all the abandoned military hardware left over in the Pacific after WW2 for MacArthur's Korean battle; speak with Dr. Porsche about starting the first VW franchise in America... These remarkable stories go from Europe to the South Seas, all told by Jeff as if we were gathered around his family fireplace.
Historical first-person narrative, showing one man's personal journey through the Twentieth Century.

About the Author

Jeff Berry has been in the US Navy, but he has also Skippered square-rigged sailing ships across the Pacific and around the world. He has flown everything from a homebuilt to a DC-4, without a license. His favorite cars were an extended frame Ford Model A, an Oldsmobile Patrician, Willys Jeepster, and maybe the first VW Bug in America.
Jeff was a survivor in the South Pacific before that became a TV show, and now he lives quietly in Olympia, WA, tinkering with an ancient Mac and a much older Ford Model A.
