Not sure if it gets better on a Nook Tablet, but Outdoor Photographer started out ok, until I read an article by Gary Hart entitled "Is That Really How It Looked?" Hart referred to seven photographs in the nook edition of Nook for PC--only one made it into the digital edition. This is a very sorry state of affairs and no way to sell a magazine. Someone really dropped the ball. Meanwhile the free edition on the outdoor photographer's website had all the photographs as well as the article. Also, the Nook for PC does not have a table of contents--I am going back to a paper subscription, which I liked in the past. So much for trying to be green. Maybe later it gets better, but right now this particular mag is not ready for me.

A very good photography magazine for outdoor nature photographers. I do wish though that the publishers add new photography staff with new ideas and stories.

It’s like watching a 30 minute TV show and most of it contains ads.

This is a good read and also inspiring for photographers with downtime. The nook version is good but be sure it's used on the HD versions.

Gear reviews and techniques galore. For me, a must. It's probably intended for the serious amateur - not full of highly technical discussion. Photos are very high quality. I'll keep subscribing in e format so I can have all the past issues with me. I became a reader in hard copy which is still at the news stand.
