It's your vacation; you deserve better than some pre-packaged tour with thirty random strangers that allows you no personal flexibility. We all have busy lives, though, and sometimes doing all the necessary research to find those local hotspots and hidden gems just seems overwhelming. Who has the time to delve into the varied, unending opportunities that Italy has to offer?
That's where One Day In Italy's Travel Planning Services can help. I make it my business (literally) to know what fun and interesting things are happening all over Italy, to understand what you'll love, to scour the country for the best prices and to put everything together so it all makes sense, giving you a stress-free (and fun-filled) vacation you'll remember for a lifetime.
I've created this "Tips & Tricks" e-book to answer some general questions usually posed to me by clients. If you haven't contacted me yet about travel planning services, that's OK! I hope this short guide will help you start dreaming about your next vacation and inspire you to discover all of the hidden treasures that Italy has to offer.

About the Author

Jessica Andrews is an expert Italy-travel planner, helping travelers get the most of their Italian vacation based on their interests, travel style, and budget. She has been traveling independently for the past 12 years both domestically and internationally. As a Cultural Studies major, Jessica has learned to appreciate and take advantage of local traditions, experiencing them to their fullest, interacting with residents and creating new adventures in every environment.

In late 2012, Jessica began, a travel blog highlighting her travels and focusing on Italian culture, food, tradition and fun. The “One Day In Italy” community has continued to grow, bringing travelers from all over the world together to share their love of all things Italian.

In addition to her blog, Jessica writes a column called “The Italian Diaries” for L’Italo Americano, one of America’s four largest Italian-American newspapers.

When asked for travel advice, Jessica always stresses the difference between a tourist and a traveler: a tourist sees and hears; a traveler feels and experiences. She enjoys meeting new travelers, helping them make the most of their time in Italy and sharing new memories when they return.
