Overview
Leading a group of hard-core frontier soldiers on a suicide mission into the unknown has its challenges. The Pike Expedition of 1806-1807 overcame climate, weather, Indians, geography, a lack of supplies, and a treasonous conspirator to march into history. Only a set of Dam'd Rascals could do it. Only a zealous patriot like Zebulon Pike could lead such a group to success.
After retiring from a 25-year teaching career, Tom Rollings moved back to Central Colorado, where he is actively involved in researching "Pike sites" and taking "Pike Hikes." He belongs to the Pike National Historic Trail Association and The Friends of Pike. Mr. Rollings is a storyteller, re-enactor, and historian.
