About the Author
Steven Knight read English Literature at University College London before working in advertising. In 2002, his first screenplay, Dirty Pretty Things, directed by Stephen Frears, won the Evening Standard Best Film and Best Actor Awards, Best British Screenwriter at the London Critics' Circle Film Awards and an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay.
