An Enemies to Lovers
Shifter, Vampire True Mates story.
Justice Volkov is the youngest Alpha Zenith to ever lead the wolf shifters. Following in his father’s large paw prints was a responsibility he met head on. Now at age thirty-three, he is alpha of the alphas. As a direct descendant of the original Siberian pack, his wolf is bigger and stronger than Justice, himself is sometimes able to control.
“His wolf howled long and hard but Justice kept it inside. It felt like a bass drum beating against his rib cage. The harsh breaths, angry snarls and the determined pacing inside him was overtaking him. All the while… his mate kept calling.”
Justice takes his role of leadership and his legacy very seriously. He has little time for romance, not to mention a true mate. His packs are his priority. With a human government trying to regulate them, an uprising of rogue shifters, and a violent team of scientists trying to experiment on them, Justice has his hands way too full.
Chadwick ‘Wick’ Bentley is not enthusiastic when the captain of his escort tells him he has to leave his comfortable London home and go back to the States. As the Vampire King, he has no choice but to get his species back in line before they cause anymore chaos. At over two-hundred years old, Wick is no one to trifle with, but his smooth, charismatic manner makes him quite unique, despite the negative reputation vampires have. Wick has had nothing but time up to this point. He doesn’t feel the need to make issues pressing. Nothing is urgent in his life. Until he meets Justice. His beloved.
“Natural enemies can’t be mates.” Or so Justice thought. He knows his skepticism and rejection is hurting his mate, so while he fights their connection, Wick gets help from a source very close to Justice to help him win his beloved’s heart. Wick is a force all on his own, but when he’s blessed with a special gift from the Mother herself, not even Justice’s powerful wolf can prevent the prophesy from being fulfilled.
This story DOES NOT contain/mention MPREG.
No multiple pairings. It does not end on a cliffhanger and has an HEA.

Prophesy is the first book in The King & Alpha series, and we start off with Justice and Wick. Justice is the Alpha Zenith, the biggest, baddest wolf shifter of them all. He is fated with Wick, the Vampire King. Both of these know the difficulties in ruling, the decisions that have to be made. One decision that was taken out of Justice's hand was that of a mate. He never imagined he would end up with a vampire, and he paid the price for his pride. I wouldn't call this an enemy to lover story, as it is their RACES that are at war, not each other. Yes, they have a misunderstanding, but nothing that isn't easily resolved. I enjoyed seeing how they both knew what punishments would work best for their own, and they weren't afraid to punish those responsible. This is the first book, so there is a lot of world-building, and a hint of more story to come (crazy human scientists). This was an easy read, with it being well-written and evenly paced. There are some steamy moments in there, and the hint of more than one story yet to come. A great start to the series, and definitely recommended by me. * A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and the comments here are my honest opinion. * Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!
The best MM Paranormal romance I’ve read in a long time. I buy paranormal romances regularly but this was such a great surprise. It gave me a jolt of excitement. The author gets so deep into the bonding and connection between the two main characters that I literally blushed on occasion. It also gives some seriously fun glimpses into the next stories. And it’s great that the book wasn’t too predictable. I do hope there’s a little more actions in the books to come but other than that I cannot praise this book enough. I would give it 6 stars if I could.
I can't wait for the next one!
Prophesy (The King & Alpha, #1) by A.E. Via I enjoyed reading Prophesy a M/M Paranormal Romance. Who would ever guess a Vampire King and an Alpha Wolf could fall in love. Well in this story they do. It seemed to me the main focus on this story is the relationship. I found the plot lacking depth. I enjoyed the premise of the Vampire race and the Wolf Shifters working together. The story got more interesting towards the end and left an opening for more intimate relationships. I'm hoping the plot picks up in the coming books. I give Prophesy 3 stars for its Vampire/Shifter relationship. I would recommend this book to Paranormal Fans.
