The book, Science Dictionary for Kids by Laurie E. Westphal is extremely helpful for those who have children going to school or want to recall what you learned way back when you went to school. It's basically a dictionary on all science topics from equipment, measurements, and units, life science, physical science, earth science, space science and more! The way the book is organized is by the different topics or sections as I listed above. When you look under a topic you want to know more about, you'll find in alphabetical order the items or information that refers to that section. For example, if I went to look up something about temperature I'd look under the section Measurements and Units. Next, search for Celsius and Fahrenheit, which they would be listed in alphabetical order, each measurement and unit known. Once I find them both, there will be a bit of information defining each. Basically, that is all there is to it! So each section or topic you want to find out more will have the information under each section in ABC order, making it easy to find and refer back to when you need too. Plus, for the children, this can come in handy for school or for home as a reference guide. Also, if a parent is helping their child with homework, this could be useful as well! Finally, I love the bright cover and well-organized information inside. It's so simple to use and makes learning fun!
