Celby was a provincial and peaceful town along the banks of the Mississippi River in Wisconsin, until Sharon Sweeney arrived as the new minister to St. George. Then all hell broke loose.
Steve Smith, Chief of Police was also new to town. Neither of them realized that their serendipitous meeting on her first day in Celby, may have sealed their fate and tied them intrinsically to the town's destiny.
Several ministers had graced the pulpit of St. Georges Church, but never a woman.
