I am so emotional right now, it is hard to write t his review. J.P. Beaumont is my favorite character of all time. J.A Jance writes beautifully and draws you in with her first paragraph. Her books are my absolute favorite. I have read all of them. She brings her characters to life in a way that one thinks they know them personally. Sins of the Fathers, in my opinion, is her best yet. I hope she will write a sequel to this book very soon. I cried many times while reading it. J.A. Jance did a magnificent job of showing the honesty, integrity, and true heart of J.P. I could go on and on. Read t his book. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Love that the author ages her chacters. Love everything about these books ... even Beau's digressions. I hope there will be more, if for no other reason than to reassure (me) that the life of a 72 year old is still relevant.

When I started the book I was glued but the more I read it felt juvenile and a bit unbelievable as far as characters response to issues. And everything worked neatly. Disappointing .
