The war between logic and emotion is an ongoing struggle, but poetry works to find a safe meeting ground for understanding. Brandon Jackson's new collection of poetry takes readers into the teaching moments found inside of tears, along empty bedsides, and during unforgettable sunshine. Somewhere Between Logic & Emotion depicts and embraces the occasions in life that may or may not always make perfect sense. With themes that surround relationships, vulnerability, self-worth, and social healing, Jackson speaks about the evolution of love, community and self. When our emotions are not always logical and when logic is not always the answer, the bigger picture is that Truth is found somewhere between.
