Wondering what the fuss is about? First, look at the playlist. On the face of it, it would appear to be an adequate playlist. However, they are all sung by Jackie Evancho. She elevates each and every song on the list to a new height. After you've listened just once, each of these songs will take on new meaning for you. You will never be able to listen to anyone else's version again without comparing them to Jackie. Now, sit back and think of your favorite Soprano, that one special singer who reaches you. Throughout history there has been a short list of truly gifted singers. However, after you hear this CD, you will clear a new place, a special place in your heart for Jackie Evancho. Her voice is so incredible that only a portion of that small handful of singers are on the same plane with Jackie, because as gifted as they might have been, only a precious few have ever had the ability to reach past the listener's emotional defenses and touch souls as deftly, as readily, as completely as Jackie does with total ease. She sings directly from her heart to yours, singing what she wants you to hear, not what she thinks you want to hear. This is the "Jackie Effect". Be forewarned, You can prepare yourself, you can harden your heart in anticipation. I won't work. She'll get you just as she has so many others.

Some of the greatest music today is being written for movies and this album showcases 10 wonderful themes.
Jackie Evancho shows that her artistry is growing by leaps and bounds. Coupled with her gorgeous soprano voice and her innate ability to discover and evoke the emotional content of the songs, she makes them her own. Some were orginally recorded more than 50 years before she was born and some much more recently, but, in her hands, each is made new again.
Even light fare, such as the themes from Disney movies, Reflection (Mulan), Can You Feel the Love Tonight (The Lion King), and I See the Light (Tangled), become songs with profound messages when Jackie applies her talents to them.
The orchestrations are extremely well done and support rather than drown her out. Guest artists, Chris Botti, Joshua Bell, and the 2Cellos add wonderful individual, supporting performances to The Summer Knows, My Heart Will Go On, and Se (Cinema Paradiso).
The duet of Come What May (Moulan Rouge) with The Tenors is an awesome blend of voices, and the performance of I See the Light with her brother, Jacob Evancho, again gives her a chance to show her ability harmonize as well as sing lead.
Her performances of Music of the Night and My Heart Will Go On are, by themselves, reason enough to buy the entire CD.
I was amazed and delighted by this follow up album. Who would think that her incredible, full length debut album, Dream With Me, released last year, would just be a prelude to introduce us to the beauty yet to come? Exquisite!

Jackie Evancho is the Angel of Music!! Her voice is unique and beautiful. Jackie is a super star in every way, voice, personality, beauty, and talent. She is 12 years old, with a voice more beautiful, than an adult.
This album is full of songs sung to perfection, and will bring tears and goosebumps to those who love great music.

This is a horrible CD. A total waste of money. Its so strange that Jackie is a teen yet 90% of her fans are males between the age of 50 and 60 years old. Theres something wrong there. And she sings adult songs instead of singing songs that teens would like. Thats very odd. Most of these songs are innappropriate for a teen to sing. Especially The Summer Knows. I would not waste my money on this trash. Unless you are a older male perverted Jackie fan.
