Synopsis; when a large raptor egg mysteriously appears in the nest of Letta and Kian, the mockingbird couple decide to raise the fledgling as one of their own, along with their three other hatchlings. This causes the family to be shunned by the other inhabitants of the forest who” will not live in the same area as a predator.” Then the secretive and mysterious crow arrives bearing news that the young falcon, Talon has a destiny to fulfill that will involve a dangerous interaction with the human threat that is upon the forest. The young bird’s decision could either help or hurt his family and the forest on which they depend. Talon must face his destiny as well as overcome the prejudice of his neighbors while trying to discover his true identity which would seem like a daunting task to any other bird, but not so for the prince of the falcons.
