The Black Eyed Peas make effective pop/crossover music, but they aren't content to be disposable pop stars; they also want to write anthemic, vital songs that speak for a new generation. And so comes The E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies). For every hyper-sexualized, by-the-numbers track like the hit single "Boom Boom Pow," there are message songs like "Now Generation," which begins, in cheerleader fashion, with the lines: "We are the now generation! We are the generation now!/This is the now generation! This is the generation now!" Led by's production, which is continually the best thing about the album, the Black Eyed Peas move even farther away from hip-hop into the type of inspirational dance-pop that has become ripe for advertisements and marketing opportunities, including "I Gotta Feeling" ("I gotta feeling that tonight's gonna be a good night") and "Party All Night" ("If we could party all night and sleep all day, and throw all of our problems away, my life would be ea-say"). Granted, there's nothing here as embarrassing as "My Humps," and the production is a shade better than previous material from the group or Fergie solo (although still not as good as solo ventures), but The E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) becomes a mess of pop/dance
ap crossover.

If you get this CD you should listen to track 5 (I Gotta Feeling), track 9 (Party al the Time), 12 (Showdown) and 14 (One Tribe). It makes you feel alive. You can listen to this songs on to get a feeling. And then you will start sing through all the another songs event the ones you might not like.

I listened to this CD so much I scratch it, so I'm purchasing a new one. I enjoyed all the tracks, especially tracks five and nine.

this cd is party material. you feel like dancing to every song. the transitions between tracks seem so fit that you can just let the whole cd play for a special event and it would seem you picked each song carefully.good music!

You can't go wrong with this CD. I'm a 44 yr old mom and the kids and I rock out to this music in the car - it's great. Some swear words if you don't like hearing them....

Just as on their other disc's, there are more than one or two hit songs here. I always enjoy driving with this music. It keeps the outside irritations away. Thanks again Black Eyed Peas. Barnes and Noble packages the things I order well. They arrive timely and in good condition.

The beats are pretty decent, but the lyrics are just ridiculous. Not only do they have no substance to it, but the choruses are too repetitious. Once they've reached the chorus for the 2nd time, you've already had enough of the song.

Great sound and beat. The lyrics are at times vulgar, not necessary for such good beats and music. Sometimes it sounds like Fergie is trying to sound ghetto when she is so Not.

This is their best CD yet. I can't think they can get any better than this. Fergie has done wonders working with them. Keep dancing...

What a great CD! Each track flows into the next; it is listenable, danceable, and very enjoyable. Some tracks you'll know from lots of radio airtime ( BoomBoomPow, I've got a feeling, Immabe) and the rest will soon become your favorites as well. Whether you play this CD for dancing, for listening in your car, or just as background music for a busy or relaxing day, the music will keep you energized and entertained. This CD will become a classic, one of your favorite, basic, must-have CDs you play over and over again. BUY IT! Listen to it! You'll LOVE it!!

This music will keep anyone active for a long period of time, whether your running, walking, biking or dancing. The music never ends, hence the "E.N.D."(Energy Never Dies). Who could not love every song on this album. All who are fans will agree this is the best yet. There is some language but for the most part you will find your kids loving it too. I put it on to distract my kids from being "bored" doing their chores. It makes it fun. I would recommend this album to anyone who likes hip hop pop rock dance. The Black Eyed Peas really have it all.

I went to the BEP concert, and the only problem I saw was that they did not play much of the END CD at the concert.
