Why am I here on earth? Why was I born? What am I supposed to do while I'm here? What is the purpose of life? What happens to me after I die? Would I live on after death? These are all very normal questions any prudent person with just a tinge of intellectual reasoning would ask. Those that are of age still have the memories of when they were young and purely innocent; before the cold cruel world formed a certain personality around that innocence, to pose as a defense mechanism that corresponds to the outside environment. Our extremely tainted false personality with misguided view points and false information; that lives solely from presume notions that we feel are right and full of prejudices, has beguiled us and we then decide to pick up the Holy Bible. We all feel this book called the Bible, will answer some of these unanswered questions; but, to our disappointment it leaves us with more questions than answers and we all wonder why. Why don't I see or hear the Heavenly Father? What are these stories to me? How can these stories help me? The strange thing about this is that we never stop to think that the book that we are reading is a spiritual book written by man inspire by the Heavenly Father with a higher nature then we possess; but yet, we do not look at our own state of being while reading this spiritual book. The truth of the matter is that we are reading this book with our false personality; the defense apparatus that was generated by the cold cruel world. Some of us, not most of us, give up there; but, there are some who go to churches and institutions to hear the Bible preached by what we think to be pious men and women; but to our detriment we realize that these men and women know less than we do. These preachers and priest are not even living up to the superficial meaning of the Bible; they seem to be teaching a tutelage that is in a form of self-improvement lessons, using the words in the Bible to tell you what you want to hear, to make you feel good, to help you justify evil behaviors that are not understood in their entirety.
