About the Author

Although it's not I that is important here, some people like to know who wrote what they might be reading so here is a summary of who I am.

Personality wise, I am an adventurous discoverer with limited funds so I improvise, adapt and overcome where it suits me, but if I am not interested in something, it's not hard to talk me out of it.

My dad told me one day as a young teenager to work smart, not hard and I have been working hard ever since. Sorry Dad, but I had to find my own way in this world.

On the other hand, I tried in most things to listen to my parents and those I knew loved me and they gave good advice, but it fell upon one who marched to the beat of a different drum.

In ways, I am still a kid with little understanding of my true age. I just take things one step at a time and try to do what I think is right.

My parents divorced when I was 12 and I went with my mom who listened to biblical studies every morning for as long as I can remember. It was good influence and shaped what good there is in me.

By the time I graduated high school I had been signed up for the Marines for almost a year as this kid that needed to toughen up chose the more difficult and direct method. When the recruiter asked what job I wanted to do, I asked him what the hardest thing I could do. He signed my up for regular infantry because the combination of physical and mental things would do the job I was asking it to do.

After 4 years in the Marine Corps, I returned to an old friend, woodworking and have done it most of my life. Those skills transferred nicely to metal fabrication, saddle making, and other mechanical things to keep my hands from going idle.

I won't argue with my Maker's timing, but sometimes I feel like I was born a 150 years too late and yet, I think being alive now is the best time in man's history as we are likely to witness greater things than any generation before us.

I believe all my struggles have been to prepare me for this time.

My greatest struggle is not over yet. I am in need to learn how to love. I do not wish to hurt those I am trying to love as Messiah would have it.

This book is not complete because I am not fully molded yet. Messiah Yahshua will have to be my Finisher.
