Thank you for sharing Layla and Quinlan in this vibrant and energetic world where magic is real when you are connected to others. I am looking forward to their journey.

Enjoyed the first portion of this free, 3 part series. However, because of basic redundant scenes with two main characters, i began skimming pages and continued to do so into the third part as well. Did not miss anything relevant. Into part 3, at times, these characters' conversations sounded like something from The Waltons?...i love you/ilove you more/my angel/my hero yada yada, ad nauseum. Basically finished 3rd part by pushing myself only to find there is no resolution but instead, there are several $10-$12 books to purchase so is a cliff hanger. Just not interesting enough to spend money on.

To say this series was a disapointment would be an understatement. Most of the book was made up of Quin and Layla going on and on about Quin doing to much for her and Layla saying she every two minutes about causing her new family so much trouble. There would be two or three full chapters in a row about that and how much they ment to each outher. This entire series could have been completed in three books. I have no intention of buying the rest of this series it would try my patience to much to read it. LM.A.

I liked the story line for the most part, but the reason I gave the first three books of the series only three stars is because the main characters, Layla and Quin, were way too lovey dovey for my taste. I mean I'm all for a good romance story any day, but the dependence the two had on each other once their feelings were revealed for each other was just way too much for me. Some people might think it's sweet, and at first it was, but after a while I just found it annoying and almost stopped reading, but I wanted to see what happened with Agro, etc... so that's what made me finish. I understand why Layla and Quin are close, but their relationship was almost too dramatic. It made Layla seem immature for her age, especially since she had already gone through so much in her life, and I expected more from someone who obviously does have a deep inner strength, which I did like about her. I would have rather read more about the villians and Layla's developing powers and training rather than her overly mushy relationship with Quin. Just my opinion. Romance is good in a healthy way, but not in the almost obsessive way portrayed by the main characters. Overall, good story idea, but I won't be buying the next books in the series. I would try other books by this author, however, as I do like the writing style, and I know it was the main characters mush fest I was turned off by, but to be fair I'm sure others may enjoy it. Thank you for the free read.

This storyline is intriguing enough to keep one reading, but the author uses certain descriptive techniques repeatedly which I found distracting in the first three stories. The main character, Layla, has certain character flaws that the author may have meant as endearing, but made her come across as whiny, too shy for her age (she hides in Quin's side far too often to be believable as an adult woman and not a teenager) and she pouts more than any other lead female character I can think of. It takes a long time for her character to develop in the series and she's not overly likeable overall. That being said, the story grew on me and I did end up reading the second set (4-6) as well. I'm not going to bother with the last book (7) because I just couldn't buy into the premise enough to warrant it.

Somewhat redundant ... juvenile scenes repeated over & over again. "My angel, my perfect angel and my hero" were used so often, I found myself skimming. Forced my way through only to realize I have to buy two more books. Don't get me wrong, it's not horrible but definitely needs some work.

I got the first 3 books free so decided to give it a try. After about first few chapters i got tired of the two main characters conversations. By the second book it became clear that the issues and rediculous insecurities were not being resolved so i began skimming pages and pages of this. Very aggrivating and boring. But the story is interesting just be prepared to skim about 60% of whats written to get to the good parts. You do get hooked on the main plot and will be spending some money as every book ends on a cliff hanger. Im on book five and main character who's most powerful witch in the world is still feeling insecure and week. I swear these two main characters talk about the same thing for at least 3 pages for every 5 pages you read. I wish i had never started the series but have to know what happens. If you take out all the junk the entire series would be one awesome 600 page novel.

Books 1-3 of the Mystic Series! Take advantage of this free offer, it will not disappoint! Book 1: I immediately fell in love with the characters Layla and Travis. But that was nothing when Quin's character came into the picture. The magic and romance in this story is breathtaking and draws you deeper in. This book was so good, I couldn't put it down. Book 2: I tell you what B.C. just knows how to pull the right strings with her readers. I have cried, laughed, and fallen so deep in love with the characters. I don't just have love for Layla and Quin, but all the supporting characters as well. But B.C. doesn't stop there. I have never loathed someone so strongly until reading about Argo. You just keep reading until you realize you are at the Epilogue and wanting more. Book 3: Wow. My hate has grown deeper as another evil character, Finley, is brought into the picture. But Quin and Layla's relationship is so amazing it pulls at your heart strings. Plus, the romance is hot and steamy. The Mystic Series is amazing! Book 4 is definitely next!! Get your Mystic Fix with Books 1-3! You won't regret it!
