Scott Snyder and Sean Murphy craft an intriguing, harrowing sci-fi/horror book that is incredibly epic. The story is very large in scale and introduces a world that I would love to read more of. I feel like there are a ton more stories left on the table but the story was complete. The ending was filled with exposition and brought down the overall momentum but The Wake was a thrilling read.

An epic tale across sea, land and air going through time and space itself. The story went places I wasn't expecting after starting off like 'The Abyss' with merfolk.
