I've never been a fan of Thor but I truely enjoyed this version by Stazcynski. His Thor is more interesting than I remember him to be and loved the idea of him talking with Donald Blake. Thor's supporting cast is still sadly lame but Coipel is able to make them look much cooler than usual. Overall, a good place to begin.

It was a very good comic, it was the fist Thor title i ever read. I can't wait until the sequel comes out. I think that the art compliments the story, there weren't any dull moments in it. Definitly worth checking out.

SPOIlERS. Interesting beginning, where Thor confronts his human alter ego, who tells him something along the lines on "Gods will live as long as humans need them." Other Norse gods are living as humans, and have forgotten their other god-like existence. Thor seems to think that he should bring some of them back, not all of them. Not his father Odin. But definitely his love interest. Interesting sidelights in New Orleans, post Katrina, where the gods didn't help, and a Darfur-like situation in Africa, where they do. Thor tangles with Tony Stark too.
