Topes in Paradise is a compilation of short stories of life in Mexico over a period of sixty years. From partying with John Wayne, Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones, and actress/model Lauren Hutton to rescuing baby dolphins, this book portrays "tidbits" of life in the tropic with the attendant "topes" or speed bumps that all foreigners encounter. It was written for those with an adventurous spirit, a gypsy soul, and a heart longing to be south of the border.

About the Author
"The stork made a mistake," my friends say. I should have been born south of the border. I was raised in South Texas in a normal middle-class family structure but my first glimpse of Mexico at age five made a lasting impression on my psyche and I wasn't truly happy in life until I made Zihuatanejo, Mexico my permanent home at age 23. I remain close to my family but the umbilical cord of my soul remains firmly rooted in this paradise by the sea.
