Overview

"Mystic Tales of War and conflict in The Middle East." These stories were written in the desert in Oman during the War on Iraq led by Tony Blair and George W Bush. I was at the time working for the Royal Airforce of Oman and was based at an operational base, Thumrait, where a good deal of the bombing raids on Iraq were launched. The airbase was littered with military aircraft and personnel from The U.S.A. U.K. and Oman. I used to hear, with great frequency, aircraft taking off at night in order to carry out bombing raids on Iraq.
It was at this time that I started to experience hallucinatory dreams, largely concerned with the horror of the reality of War. Having had relative success with my first book "Oman Under Arabian Skies" I decided to chronicle these vision like dreams. The end result is contained in this collection of stories.
