Overview

This book will be the first of a children's series titled "The Half-Brother/Step-Brother Series". This book is to help children ages 4 and up understand where outside siblings that live with other parents come from. In addition, I hope to help children understand that their half-sibling is someone they could love and accept, although they share one parent.

About the Author

Dr. Hancock-Johnson earned a Bachelor's of Arts from the University of Oregon in Psychology and Sociology, a Master's of Science from Iowa State University in Human Development and Family Studies with a specialization in Family Studies, and a Doc-torate of Education (EdD) in Counseling Psychology with a concen-tration in Counselor Education and Supervision. She has also gained additional certification as a Life Strategies Coach (LSC) in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. Dr. Hancock-Johnson has been mentioned in The Monitor, Miami Today, and Coffee News (Palmetto Bay Edi-tion). Most recently, she did an interview with Miami's Hot 105.1 FM Radio Station with Rodney Baltimore.

Hassani Kwess is an up and coming music artist who has talent in producing, singing, rapping, and drawing. He is an independent artist and illustrator. As a music artist, he has several underground projects, production credits, and he is currently working on a clothing line.
