The Parkland school shooting was the most avoidable mass murder in American history. And the policies that made it inevitable are being forced into public schools across America.
“After my sister Meadow was murdered at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, the media obsessed for months about the type of rifle the killer used. It was all clickbait and politics, not answers or justice. That wasn’t good enough for us. My dad is a real tough guy, but Meadow had him wrapped around her little finger. He would do anything she wanted, and she would want him to find every answer so that this never happens again.
My dad teamed up with one of America’s leading education experts to launch his own investigation. We found the answers to the questions the media refused to ask. Questions about school safety that go far beyond the national gun debate. And the answers to those questions matter for parents, teachers, and schoolchildren nationwide.
If one single adult in the Broward County school district had made one responsible decision about the Parkland shooter, then my sister would still be alive. But every bad decision they made makes total sense once you understand the district’s politically correct policies, which started here in Broward and have spread to thousands of schools across America.”

Powerful story every parent must read; the incompetency exposed in Broward county is absolutely horrifying, disgusting and ultimately heartbreaking. From a cowardly campus safety officer who is allowed to continue working on campus after sexually harassing multiple female students, or another who hid in a closet, or the cowardly armed guard who coward outside while kids were being shot inside, to a cowardly Broward county police force who coward behind trees while kids were being shot inside, to a cowardly and incompetent Broward county on-scene commander who prevented medics from providing life-saving medical care inside--the utter cowardice and incompetence from school administration and Broward PD is gut-wrenching and heartbreaking. Thank goodness for the neighboring Coral Springs police department who finally led the way into the school to help the victims, and for the teachers and students who did the best they could with what they had to survive. Shame on Broward County public school administrators, and shame on the Broward County police force.
I love this book even though the jerks who run our schools made me so frustrated! Thank you for exposing them
I told a friend when I recommended this book to him that it was an incredible tragedy reading the portrayal of the shooting, but that the real scary part came afterwards.immense kudos to all who took the time to put this book together. God bless all of you and your families. it's an incredible read
This book is a MUST read for parents, teachers, school administrators, and politicians. Children need us to set our political parties aside and come together to end school violence. This book educates the public on how corrupt the Broward County School District is and the major role they played in the events that led up to one of the most horrific school tragedies ever. Andrew Pollack and his family have suffered as few can comprehend. He tells first hand how and why his daughter's death was part of "the most preventable mass murder ever". The cascading failures that caused this continue largely unchanged, and he bravely faces scrutiny truth tellers today face. He does so in his daughter's name. God bless him.
Great book, terrifying what is going on in our school systems!
When I think of corruption, I think of presidents, senators and congress. I think of local city governments and even an occasional police officer. I always felt that corruption was part of adult life, in a society that continues to lose it’s moral compass. I never thought about corruption directly affecting our children. I live here in Broward County, put my son through school here; I had no idea the system was so corrupt. Whatever you think you know about the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, before you get through chapter 1, you’re for a harsh reality check. If you have a child enrolled in school, in this Country, you need to know what’s in this book. The system that created the Parkland Shooter is not just a Broward County School nightmare; its a system being utilized all over this country. You need to know what’s going on in your child’s school.
