About the Author
Jabari Woods a native of Davenport, Iowa has spent most of his adult years inspiring others to be the best they can be in YAH. A graduate from St. Ambrose University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management, and a Masters in Social Work, Jabari fell in love with biblical history and the importance of serving others, which took him on a journey of self-discovery revealing the original Hebraic name of the Creator YAH and his son our savior YAHshua.
Mr. Woods is the founder/CEO of YAH’S Dollar Project a charitable organization that generates funds to help the less fortunate within the community. YAH’S Dollar Project is inspired by the biblical story of the messiah, YAHshua, who fed 5,000 people with five loaves of bread and two fish. Our mottos is, “Give a little, change the world.” YAH’S Dollar Project mission is to “INSPIRE AND EMPOWER ALL PEOPLE TO GIVE THROUGH A COLLECTIVE EFFORT OF MONETARY DONATIONS IN ORDER TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THOSE WITHIN THEIR OWN COMMUNITIES.”

Jabari has over 18 years of professional experience working in the areas of HR, Equity, and Social Services. He continues his mission of servant leadership by creating a positive professional atmosphere for employees, community members, and students to work and grow. Jabari believes, “Through words comes writing, and through writing comes the ability to communicate through our thoughts and feelings. All this takes place in the picking up of a book.” Be inspired!
