Just what I needed after reading Zoo. I loved it. I read it in three hours, although I was not a long novel it definitely exceeded my expectations.

What is more frightening than feral animals attacking humans? Feral humans attacking humans!! I could not put this book down! I both love and hate this book. Love it because it's fast paced and suspenseful, hate it because it ends on a cliff hanger!!

Reads like an episode of tv show "Zoo". Plot skips back and forth to different characters, well written and quite enjoyable. Great read!

This is an interesting and fast-paced continuation from the first book. I liked it, but because of the whole book shot thing, I think it wasn't as much my kind of thing. My understanding is that book shots are short books with just the action bits aimed for people who normally watch action movies instead of reading. It's a way to give reading to people who usually aren't readers. I'm a big reader so I'm more into full stories with the supporting details instead of just the action. Thus, I liked it, but it wasn't as good as the first book for me. In this story, the animals are still going crazy, but now it's also spreading to humans. It also ends in a creepy way that lets you know everything is not over and may even be worse than before.
